Snow day

Remember when you were in elementary school and you woke up to snow? While my firm never appears on the local news under "closings" and I curse all the way to work in my boots as the bus pulls away from the curb leaving me to shiver in the cold for the next one, I find myself smiling as my eyelashes catch a few snowflakes while I wait. I miss my snowsuit and making snow angels.
